קורס "פיסול עם ילדים בחינוך וולדורף" עם רודולף קייסבך ---- Course "Sculpture with Children in Waldorf Education" with Rudolf Kaesbach

In the beginning of April the Artways Center hosted the Sculptor and Educator Rudolf Kaesbach from Emerson College in England. He conducted three workshops on pedagogical sculpture, two of which (on the theme of teaching sculpture to children in lower school - grade 1 - 8) took place at Urim School in Ramat Hasharon. The third course took place in our workshops in Harduf and focused on teaching sculpture to upper school children (grade 9 - 12).

בתחילת אפריל מרכז דרך האמנות אירח את הפסל ומורה וולדורף רודול קייסבך מאמרסוםן קולג' באנגליה. קייסבך לימד שלוש סדנאות על הנושא פיסול עם ילדים, מתוכן שתי סדנאות התארחו בבי"ס אורים בכפר הירוק (בנושא פיסול עם ילדים בבית ספר היסודי - כיתות א' - ח'). הסדנה השלישית התקיימה בסדנאות בהרדוף והתמקדה בנושא של פיסול עם ילדים בבית ספר תיכון (כיתות ט' - י"ב).

 

תערוכת ציורים של מיכל קלמנוביץ ------------------------------- Exhibition of Paintings by Michal Kalmanovich

Michal Kalmanovich, who is member of the teaching staff at the Artways Center is showing her latest paintings in an exhibition at the "Mishkan Hamila" Gallery in Kibbutz Harduf.

מיכל קלמנוביץ, מורה לציור במרכז דרך האמנות, מציגה ציורים חדשים בגלריה של "משכן המילה" בקיבוץ הרדוף.

קורס פיסול במתכות - metal sculpture course

תוכנית הלימודים של שנה"ל 2011-12 כוללת קורס פיסול במתכות. הסטודנטים למדו טכניקות בסיסיות של נפחות ושל עבודה במתכת, כגון חיתוך, ריתוך, הלחמה, ריקוע ועוד. בתחלק הראשון של הקורס הסטודנטים עבדו על פסל מברזל, בחלק השני המשימה היא ליצור עבודה מנחושת.

As part of the curriculum of the 2011-2012 academic year students participate in a metal sculpture course. In this course the students learn basic blacksmithing techniques as well as metal processing skills such as cutting, welding, soldering and forming. The first part of the course focusses on iron-sculpture, while in the second part students create a sculpture from copper sheet.
