קורס חדש ומרתק עם אקסל אוולד

This year a new course with the title "Experimental Drawing" has been running at the Artways Centre. It is aimed at students with some background in drawing who wish to expand and deepen their drawing practice into new territories.

השנה קורס חדש בשם "רישום אקספרימנטלי" מתקיים במרכז דרך האמנות. הקורס מיעוד לסטודנטים עם רקע ברישום המתבקשים להרחיב ולהעמיק את עבודתם ברישום.

The course is designed to open new channels for creation in the realm of drawing. Using various unconventional means of drawing participants are encouraged to "loose control" in order to overcome habits and discover new qualities of lines and marks.

הקורס מעוצב ככה שיתאפשר פתיחת ערוצים חדשים ליצירה בתחום הרישום. נאשע שימוש באמצעים בלצי שגרתיים כדי לעודד משתתפים "לאבד שליטה", לשנות על הרגלים ולגלות איכויות חדשות של קווים וכתמים.

Special emphasis is put on the process of drawing (rather than the results). Participants are encouraged to get physically and emotionally involved in the activity of drawing.

בקורס שמים דגש מיוחד על תהליך היצירה כפעילות שאנחנו מעורבים בה באופן פיזי ורגשי.

Various elements of drawing like line, texture, light and dark and composition and the materiality of drawing materials are explored in new and unconventional ways.

אלמטים שונים של אמנות הרישום נחקרים בדרכים חדשות ובלתי שגרתיות: קו: מרקם, אור וחושך, קומפוזיציה וחומריות אמצעי הרישום.

The course includes an exploration of a wide range of techniques in order to expand the creative 'toolbox' of participants.

הקורס כולל מחקר של מבחר רחב של טכניקות וגישות כדי להרחיב את 'ארגז הכלים' של סטודנטים.

Participants are guided to explore the sources of their creativity, both in the outer world of phenomena and in the inner world of memories, images and feelings.

המשתתפים העודדים לחקור את מקורות יציריותם, כן בעולם התופעות החיצוניות וכן בעולם הפנימי של זכרונות, דימוים ורגשות.

In the second part of the course students work on an individual project which will be presented in the end-of-year exhibition

קורס "פיסול עם ילדים בחינוך וולדורף" עם רודולף קייסבך ---- Course "Sculpture with Children in Waldorf Education" with Rudolf Kaesbach

In the beginning of April the Artways Center hosted the Sculptor and Educator Rudolf Kaesbach from Emerson College in England. He conducted three workshops on pedagogical sculpture, two of which (on the theme of teaching sculpture to children in lower school - grade 1 - 8) took place at Urim School in Ramat Hasharon. The third course took place in our workshops in Harduf and focused on teaching sculpture to upper school children (grade 9 - 12).

בתחילת אפריל מרכז דרך האמנות אירח את הפסל ומורה וולדורף רודול קייסבך מאמרסוםן קולג' באנגליה. קייסבך לימד שלוש סדנאות על הנושא פיסול עם ילדים, מתוכן שתי סדנאות התארחו בבי"ס אורים בכפר הירוק (בנושא פיסול עם ילדים בבית ספר היסודי - כיתות א' - ח'). הסדנה השלישית התקיימה בסדנאות בהרדוף והתמקדה בנושא של פיסול עם ילדים בבית ספר תיכון (כיתות ט' - י"ב).
